Simone Moro, Denis Urubko e Cory Richards hanno ricevuto il premio di "Best of Explorersweb 2011" per la miglior impresa alpinistica del 2011.



Simone Moro e Denis Urubko stanno proprio in questi giorni affrontando una nuova sfida scalando la vetta del Nanga Parbat, che con i suoi 8125 metri è al nona vetta più alta del mondo, ma a distanza di un anno fa ancora parlare l'ascesa invernale al Gasherbrum 2, la prima in assoluto. Questa impresa è stata premiata con il Best of Explorersweb 2011 come la miglior scalata dell'anno, e Simone ci scrive direttamente da Ser (2700 metri, Pakistan) per esprimere i suoi ringraziamenti e per augurare a tutti un felice nuovo anno:

Dear friends! We just arrived in the village called "Ser" at 2700 meters in Diamir valley, Nanga Parbat - Pakistan. Everything is going well and feel good. We want to wish you happy new year with a GREAT NEWS: Simone Moro, Denis urubko and Cory Richards had been awarded with "Best of explorersweb" for the " greatest climb of the 2011".
